The Story of Titanic

In the first voyage of one of the largest ship ever made, Titanic made history and left a great impact to the lives of many people. Struck by an iceberg on April 15, 1912, it sank while on its way from Southampton to New York City. Approximately 1,500 passengers died out of 2,200 people on the Titanic. This large ship?s last sail was considered to be one of the deadliest nautical disasters. It was constructed on the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast, Ireland. Several crews and other maritime members were needed to fully operate this large ship and used over 800 tons of British coals each day.

The world?s attention was caught when this large ship sank almost 100 years earlier. Many people were fascinated upon hearing about the history of this vessel. A fictional movie inspired by this Titanic event was even made and has grossed over millions of views and has won several awards in the movie industry.
